How ChallyQ works
In 60 seconds
ChallyQ is a free platform for League of Legends players. You set performance goals on your own ranked games, and if you hit them you earn in-app progress. It is a skill ladder, not a game of chance — and it is not betting.
What ChallyQ is
A free companion for your own League of Legends matches. Before a game you pick challenges — things like “win your next ranked game,” “hit 200 CS,” or “finish with a 3.0+ KDA.” You then play League completely normally on the official client. Nothing runs inside your game.
The core loop
- 1.Connect your Riot account so we know which player to look at.
- 2.Before a match, accept one or more challenges — for free.
- 3.Play League of Legends normally.
- 4.When the game ends, ChallyQ reads the official match result from Riot’s public API.
- 5.If you met every target, you earn Season Points (SP). If you fell short, you simply earn none — you never lose Season Points.
- 6.Season Points are cumulative and set your place on the seasonal leaderboard.
How results are verified
You never mark your own challenge as complete. After your game ends, ChallyQ fetches the real match from Riot’s Match-V5 API and checks your actual stats against the challenge’s targets on our servers. Each match settles a challenge at most once, so a game can never be counted twice. Remakes and games too short to count are ignored.
No virtual currency
ChallyQ has no coins, tokens or virtual currency of any kind. Accepting a challenge is free, and failing one costs you nothing. The reward for completing a challenge is Season Points (SP) — your competitive standing — never a currency.
ChallyQ has no:
- virtual currency to buy, sell or trade
- entry fee or cost to accept a challenge
- wagering, betting or odds
- cash-out — Season Points are standing, never money
- player-funded prize pool
Season Points and seasons
Completing challenges earns Season Points (SP). Season Points are cumulative — within a season they only ever go up, and you never lose them. Ranked Solo/Duo and Ranked Flex are tracked as two separate ladders — a Flex game never affects your Solo/Duo Season Points and vice versa. Each ladder has its own seasonal leaderboard. Seasons run for a fixed period; when one ends the standings are final and the next starts fresh. Your position depends only on your verified competitive performance.
Prizes
During Beta, ChallyQ offers no prizes — top players earn cosmetic recognition, such as a Beta Tester badge. Any prizes in the future would be funded entirely by ChallyQ, decided purely by final ranking (never by chance, never from a pool of player money), and would require legal review before being introduced — they may never be introduced. Participation is always free and nothing is ever wagered.
How ChallyQ makes money
ChallyQ is free to play and plans to sustain itself primarily through advertising. Prizes are funded by ChallyQ, not by players. Players never pay to participate and never pay to win.
