Terms of Service
Beta — working version
These terms govern your use of ChallyQ. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. This is the Beta version of these terms and may be updated as ChallyQ develops.
1. Who we are
ChallyQ is an independent project operated by its creator. Formal operating-entity and registered-address details will be published here before ChallyQ leaves Beta. Contact: support@challyq.com.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and you must be old enough to use the service under the laws that apply to you.
During testing, accounts use a temporary username/password sign-in. This will be replaced by Riot Sign On; your progress is intended to carry over.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- cheat, script, bot, or use unauthorised automation that affects results;
- exploit bugs in League of Legends or in ChallyQ;
- win-trade, match-fix, or manipulate statistics or standings;
- share accounts, boost, or use an account you do not own and control;
- operate multiple accounts to gain an unfair advantage;
- attempt to access, disrupt or reverse-engineer the service or its infrastructure;
- use the service in violation of Riot Games' Terms of Service or applicable law.
4. No virtual currency
ChallyQ has no virtual currency, coins, tokens or any in-app balance of monetary value. Accepting a challenge is free and failing one costs nothing. Your progress is expressed as Season Points (SP) — a competitive standing, not property and not money — which we may adjust or reset as part of normal operation of the service (for example, at season reset or to correct errors or abuse). There is nothing to buy, sell, transfer or cash out.
5. Rankings and prizes
Standings are determined by verified competitive performance under the Competition & Prize Rules, which are part of these terms. Prizes, where offered, are funded by ChallyQ and awarded by ranking; participation is free and nothing is wagered. We may correct, adjust or withhold points and prizes in cases of error, fraud or rules violations.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, that is banned or restricted by Riot, or where required to protect the service or other users. You may stop using the service at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Service availability and changes
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It is under active development and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. We may add, modify or remove features at any time.
8. Intellectual property
ChallyQ and its original content, branding and software are owned by the operator or its licensors. League of Legends, Riot Games and all related marks and assets are the property of Riot Games, Inc.; they are used here only as permitted and their use does not imply any endorsement or affiliation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChallyQ is provided without warranties, and the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Relationship with Riot Games
ChallyQ is an independent project. It isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing Riot Games properties. Riot Games, and all associated properties are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc.
11. Governing law and changes to these terms
The governing law and the jurisdiction for any disputes will be specified here before ChallyQ leaves Beta. We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
